Foothill Primitives: Halloween & Christmas Signs Review & Giveaway:

Foothill Primitive's Mercantile

If you are like me you LOVE rustic signs that are wood and painted by hand. Foothill Primitives is one of the best sign creators I have ever seen with just about anything for anyone. Betsy, the owner, is one of the sweetest people you could ever speak to and was so excited to allow me the chance to review! I chose to request a Halloween and Christmas sign so that I could show everyone the opportunities you had to get items for both holidays.
\
Note: After the signs were mailed to me, I received a message stating that Betsy was not as pleased with the Christmas sign as she was the Halloween sign. So she decided to create another one for me and mail it to me that was to her standard. I decided to write this review anyway with the two I received because I adore both so much! I will post an update when I receive the newer Christmas sign to show any differences. But I thank Betsy for being such a high-standard lady that she wants to have perfection mailed out!

So first I'm starting with the Halloween sign. This sign looks AMAZING! When I spoke with Betsy originally all I said was a "Happy Halloween" sign that was orange with black font, and a jack-o-lantern on it. I was so very impressed when we got this sign. It measures 5.5 x 18 inches long with a notch on the back for hanging. My husband is the Halloween lover in the house, and now that we live in a house we intend on going all out for Halloween if we can. This sign is going to be perfect at the front door! I love the detailing, you can see the hand work and knowing that's what she did makes this even more special. Don't you love the jack-o-lantern's mouth? I love his smile and his teeth! You can find this sign now on her Etsy store here, and currently it is $30!

Of course, since I'm the Christmas lover in the house this is my favorite sign. It's a bit smaller, it measures 3.5 x 12 and all I said (again) was I loved this sign (which you can view the original here) with red background, white font, and I requested the holly leaves on it. Again, I absolutely love this knowing it's hand done. This is so beautiful and I plan on getting some either holly with berries, or some cinnamon smelling pine cones and draping them around this by the front door. This is the one that Betsy says didn't come out perfect and she has already shipped me another one. I love it, but I also love that she is such a perfectionist she wants me to have a better one. So when it arrives, I will show you all the update! This sign goes for $20 on her Etsy site as well!

Betsy also has other signs that are Wicca related, Hippie, and more so there's something for everyone there! Check out her page, and get your holiday signs early!
