Tuesday Top 10: Top 10 Disney Villains:

Today we are going to do an awesome countdown for you to love, and you can share with your kids! The Top 10 Disney Villains -- At least The Review Ballerina's...

#10 - Lady Tremaine (Cinderella)

Well, Lady Tremaine really is just lazy. She didn't want to do her own housework so she made her non-biological daughter do it. She wasn't really dangerous, just a pain in the butt. At least we've learned if you have a Step-Mom who loves her cat more than her daughters you need to run!

#9 - Gaston (Beauty & The Beast)

Gaston, Gaston...what the heck kind of name is that anyway? This guy was just so self-absorbed you hoped the mirror would fall on his face. He was pretty bad in the sense that he hunted down the Beast trying to kill him right in front of Belle. Who does that? "Love me woman by watching me slay the man you love!" Yeah that works.

#8 - Jangles the Clown (Inside Out)

Jangles isn't really a villain per se, but anyone who has a clown phobia is currently becoming very squeamish in their seats. Jangles hits just the right mixture of cute and terrifying doesn't he? Poor kid never stood a chance in her dreams the moment he showed up with that freakin' mallet. Which reminds me, why does the clown have a MALLET? You bonk frogs, not kids!

#7 - Scar (The Lion King)

Don't you sneer at me, Mister. You're the one who killed your own brother and blamed your nephew. This guy really had issues didn't he? Fact was he really should've known he screwed up when all the greenery around him died after Mufasa was gone. Circle of life dude, you're more like a trapezoid.

#6 - Ursula, the Sea Witch

Few times in Disney do we see plus sized women. Sucks that the only time we were represented it was by an eight legged sea monster who needed a make over. This lady really did have powers and could've been dangerous. But lover conquers all, or in this case lover skewers the octopus into oblivion.

#5 - Jafar (Aladdin)

Jafar is another example of a villain that had a lot of potential but instead was just stupid. He was a sorcerer, he really didn't need the genie. Really, he didn't. He had magic under his belt and a squawking parrot that reminds you of that Aflac duck doesn't he? Instead he had to go for the whole "phenomenal cosmic power" trip, and ended up in that "itty bitty living space" instead. At least until the second movie. I prefer Family Guy's take on it:

#4 - Yzma (The Emperor's New Groove)

Yzma is hilarious, really is. Great abilities to make potions and spells, got herself a boy toy with the body of the Tick (and if you aren't getting these references you need to rewatch Disney, seriously) but she just couldn't be happy with things. Oh no, she just had to try to rule the world just like all the other villains. You know, maybe I'm weird but if I had a job in a palace with all bills paid and all I had to do was kiss a royal's butt, I wouldn't be trying to kill him...or turn him into a Llama.

#3 - Captain Hook (Peter Pan)

A man who wears heels, a wig, and powder on his face that another man has to brush off daily...and he wants to be around children. Nuff' said. I never really felt this guy was a danger but if we look at the "realism" of his character, he's scary as heck! I for one would be more afraid of him being alone with my kid than anything else!

#2 - The Evil Queen (Snow White)

I don't know if it's because I'm a huge fan of Once Upon a Time or what, but I feel like the Evil Queen really is a bad ass. She has magic behind her, incredible powers, and is driven by a huge sense of jealousy over physical appearance. In the show Once Upon a Time she is able to change time, and reality to make it her own. Let's be honest, all of us at one time or another want to be able to do that. You find something in your life you wish you could back and walk another path and fix. So...yeah she's scary! Don't eat an apple!

#1 - Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)

Yes, I chose Maleficent as the number one villain. This woman was insane, and scary to boot. I was afraid of her as a child! She wasn't jealous, she wasn't even angry. She just straight up wanted to watch the world burn towards those she felt spited by. Kind of reminds me of the Joker that Heath Ledger played. Maleficent even made sure her curse spanned for years to ensure the demise came true and if it wasn't for Phillip that wouldn't have ever changed.

Do you agree with these villain choices? Who is your favorite and why? Leave a comment below!

Elizabeth is a work at home Mother of a sweet and beautiful daughter. She is a wife of seven years and a blogger for some time now. When she isn't spending time with her "Livvybug" she is looking for new review opportunities and writing or singing along to classic rock and pop music!
