Crazy Cups: Review & Flavor of the Month - Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich:

Crazy Cups: Official Facebook

I have a friend who lives about...oh I'd say an hour or two from me up to the North. She is a writer as well, and right now she is participating in the annual NaNoWriMo competition. I've seen so many posts on Facebook of her undying love and affection for her coffee maker, and I know for Christmas her favorite gift from me would probably be a bag full of Crazy Cups coffee. This review is dedicated to my dear friend Adz, and her incredible passion for coffee!

"Where you at, where you at, where you at, where you at now there you go..." Shall we begin by having this song stuck in our heads for the next several hours? Yes, we shall! Once again, Crazy Cups completely impresses me with their amazing coffee flavors. I am a weird person, I will not eat or drink anything normally that is called "Peanut butter & Jelly" unless it's the sandwich. Why? Well I guess if you think about Jelly it's very easy to make a horrible "jelly" flavor, or like most foods the peanut flavor will taste burnt or artificial. So when I saw this flavor, after laughing hysterically at the description and immediately running to one of my favorite episodes of "Family Guy", I decided to jump right in with both feet.

After my daughter and I made chocolate cheesecake swirl muffins I brewed a cup of the coffee, took a deep breath, and took a sip. Instantly, you can taste the jelly flavor. The entire time you're taking in sips that jelly flavor is there and it's definitely a great flavor. I can't really say it tastes like a particular jelly fruit like grape, strawberry, etc. But it just tastes sweet like a jelly or jam would. Then, as you swallow you can taste the peanut and it blends together so well. I once again am on my second cup (which as you can see in the picture has grounds in it because for some bizarre reason my coffee maker likes pouring grounds into my cup and not just brewed coffee sometimes) and I feel like dancing!!

If you've followed me a long time, you knew it was coming! I have become a huge fan of nut flavored coffees thanks to Crazy Cups especially as the flavors don't taste burnt or overpower at all. You don't spend minutes after wishing you could get a glass of water to rinse out that dryness that most nut coffees brings, it's just fantastic! This will now be the only thing I will eat or drink besides a peanut butter & jelly sandwich with the name, and you have to try this too!

You can get 22 Cups for $15.90 on their website (the link is here) and don't forget, if you share this post on any social media page and use the hashtag #operationcoffee, Crazy Cups will donate single serve coffee cups to our military! You know they need them!
