Crazy Cups: Review & Flavor of the Month - Mocha Turtle

Crazy Cups: Official Facebook

Guess who's back! That's right! I am back and adoring coffee like you would not believe! A huge thank you to Crazy Cups for being patient while I was able to get back on track with my coffee reviews. Coffee is a staple of every day life, whether people want to admit it or not; and the fact that the last several months I couldn't really touch coffee well let's just say...it was so hard to get through the weeks without my Crazy Cups. But, this month's flavor came in just as I was able to go back to drinking coffee and it was heaven in a cup!

Oh, I don't know about any of you but that first sip, the very first sip after you've added whatever you want to your coffee (for me it was a couple of sugar cubes and a tiny bit of sweet creamer) is just heaven. That warmth that melts in your mouth (and not in your hand, hah!) tells you immediately what kind of day you'll have. With Crazy Cups, there's never a bitterness to their coffee. There's never a taste of burnt coffee beans or excessive amounts of flavor additions. So this month's flavor really was like mana from heaven when it arrived because I squealed in delight.

Now I used to eat Turtles (man are they hard to chew they are so crunchy with the shells! Just kidding) when I was a Camp Fire girl. We actually would sell our own versions of them, and they were great because they were made with peanuts. I eat peanuts and almonds, but other than that I'm not a fan of nuts so at first I was concerned about this. In the air, you can smell the mocha, you can smell caramel, and I personally didn't pick up nuts. So that got me happy for sure because sometimes people make turtles with pecans or another kind of nut. The first sip was absolute heaven, I actually did not really taste any nut! I'm not sure if there are any, the description doesn't include it but for me it was just smooth and rich mocha and caramel blending with the sweetners I add. Another incredible and delicious flavor from Crazy Cups that you will have completely finished off in just a few minutes simply because you can't put your cup down!

See? I finished my cup before I even finished writing my review, and I am about to go make another cup. I also want to mention that with Crazy Cups coffee yes you get an energetic buzz just like any other coffee you drink, but it's not as potent as some other companies. I don't feel myself shaking and not having the ability to figure out what I want to do in my day. Yes, a company out there has a coffee so strong I end up doing ten tasks at once and then wondering why I put the sugar in the fridge and the eggs in the dishwasher. Crazy Cups? It's perfect, absolutely perfect!
