Honua Childrens Bracelets by Imperial Toy Review:

Another fantastic gift listed on Santa's Seasonal Suggestions!

Displaying IMG_0074.JPG

As your child gets older, they are going to want to play dress up and wear jewelry. Of course, if you have strong costume jewelry you can let your three to five year old play with it (though I can't guarantee perfect status upon return!) but that's where Honua Bracelets can come in. Honua Bracelets combine the strength and serenity of the four elements: fire, land, sky, and water, These bracelets symbolize the critical energy forces that sustain life on our plant and the power that they each possess. There are six of them, but we have four to show you.

My My Magic BDB Pendant Review:

Another great suggestion for Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers!

I am a huge, Huge, HUGE, HUGE fan of the Black Dagger Brotherhood (Thank you Mrs. J. R. Ward!). From Wrath and Vishous to the Caldwell and everything between I get excited for a new book months before it is actually to be released. I'm making plans to get a glass of wine, a lit candle (or a fire in the fireplace) and to curl up and read the book from 9pm-2am, which is when my daughter goes to bed. My My Magic makes incredible pendants, jewelry, and other great items that are book related and I got to review a couple of pendants!

Engravable Silver Square Monogram Tag Pendant from Eve's Addiction Review

Another great option from "Santa's Seasonal Suggestions"!

One thing you always want to consider for Christmas, birthdays, and even just "thinking of you" gifts is jewelry. Eve's Addiction has quality, beautiful pieces of jewelry and many engravable pieces for a great price that'll fit any budget. I decided to pick out something for my daughter to review because one thing you normally cannot find are jewelry pieces for a preschooler that aren't plastic and very colorful. With Ms. Huang's help, I was able to get something fantastic!

The pendant is small, and has her initials "OMG" engraved into it. This is real silver, and came polished and in a perfect gift giving box. I love how beautiful and clear the initials are, and they really do a fantastic job of making sure that this is something that can grow with whomever you give it to. I was confused at first when I looked at the "G", I thought it was lower cased while the "O" and the "M" were upper cased. But no, this is upper case as well and the more I look at it the more I love it even more like that. It feels more feminine this way, and more dainty.

The company was even nice enough to give us a 14" inch chain for the necklace when normally their smallest is 16" which was so accommodating. It's a bit thin, but again very feminine and lovely. I can't wait to give it to my daughter and show her, though I am waiting just a bit until I think she is ready for more grown up jewelry. I think this is a piece everyone can enjoy because not only is it great for gifts, but if you want to get yourself something like this and maybe your daughter a matching one, or maybe both your children, or even for a wedding party you could give your bridesmaids these. Fantastic beauty in such gorgeous jewelry is hard to find without paying thousands of dollars. This image is a bit blurry on the charm, but I moved the chain some so you can see the thinness of it and see that it is interlocked very well.

All in all, Eve's Addiction carries what you need for any special occasion. I am hoping to get my daughter some earrings from there very soon, as today we have figured out she is allergic to the "hypoallergenic" and "nickel-free" earrings they sell at local stores. Looks like real silver or gold will be the only thing this little girl can handle, and I will be making sure to get all of the pairs from Eve's!

Out of five stars, I give Eve's Addiction Image result for pink starsImage result for pink starsImage result for pink starsImage result for pink stars 1/2!!

Silver Signet Ring from Novica Review

I am always a huge fan of independent artists' work. Whether it be music, movies, jewelry, clothing, whatever it is there's always something fantastic about seeing something that isn't just made in a factory, churning out something over and over that is identical and not unique. When Novica gave me the opportunity to review an item I immediately thought of my husband. It's common to see womens' items get reviewed when the opportunity arises or in my case a children's product. I really wanted to do something different so I let my husband pick something out. He chose a silver signet ring and this is our review.

The ring arrived in a very nice pouch and a small card that had some phrases in another language for us to know. Unfortunately, the gnomes every home has took our card and we could not find it shortly after arriving home. The ring is pure sterling silver and is extremely well created. One thing I was wanting to see when we got it was the quality of the round shape. Most of the time when you get something that was hand crafted by an independent artist, you'll see minor dents or nicks in the silver showing some slight flaws. This has none of that, and it looks fantastic.

I love the quality of the top of it as well, though we did expect a bit more darkness between the design based on the image on the website. But the ring fits really "true to size" when he wears it on his finger. He's not normally a jewelry guy so for him to want to wear this every day tells you it's a great quality item and definitely something men would want to wear often. He's already slept in it, smacked it on the counter top, even bathed the kid with it on and not a single mark or damage so this is good, quality craftsmanship.  If jewelry though is not what you're interested in, they also have some incredible things such as Mexican Hammocks, Yoga Clothing, even Tote Bags, and Corporate Gifts for that great boss or secretary. So there is definitely something for everyone here!

I would most definitely consider this company and the items within a great "Santa's Seasonal Suggestion" as you can find multiple items from many, many independent artists all over the world. You can find gifts for young and old, male or female and the best part is, they truly want to give you a great, quality product. It's not about churning it out so you have the same thing as your neighbor but it shows the artist's best traits through their work. Plus, Novica works along with National Geographic so that's always a huge plus!

Wood and Copper Pendant Necklace Review

One thing that I adore when it comes to jewelry is homemade jewelry. As glamorous as factory made jewelry can be (Even when hand made) to get a piece that is unique and one of a kind makes you feel extremely special, and honored. In a Facebook Group that I recently joined, a jewelry designer named Darlene Johnson was doing a giveaway...and I won a Wood and Copper Pendant Necklace. I was really excited and I decided to write a review to promote her jewelry line as I think these pieces are perfect for those who would rather have unique over stamped out.

Necklace1

The necklace is a piece of black rope, with a pendant made of agatized wood wrapped in copper. The wood is smooth and has some weight to it which I love. I am not a fan of jewelry that you put on and don't feel anymore. It runs the risk of falling off and you don't know it until it's far gone. The copper is not loose at all, it's bound tightly around the wood and is not thin. This piece will last for years and years and the best part is, it has a beautiful meaning behind it.

Necklace

For those who follow a Wiccan or Pagan path, this works for you. From Darlene herself:
"This necklace can be used in healing rituals. The wood is used for grounding, protection, safety, ancient energies. Wood is the root sacral and solar plexus charka. The copper works like an antibiotic, helps to keep infection away. It also helps healing problems with excess fat, it also benefits the liver, spleen and lympathic system. The cord helps everything work together."

All in all I think Ms. Johnson and her work is very unique and special and I think everyone should look at her page for Christmas gifts, birthday presents, or even just a simple "Thinking of you". She definitely has a lot to offer through her work and I know all of you would love to own something she has created. I also would like to thank Darlene for running her giveaway, and allowing me to win!
Out of five stars, I give Dj & Daughters Dreamcatcher Plus !!
