My husband is a very creative person in our household. He makes music on his computer as well as has begun learning guitar by self-taught instruction. He also is an artist and does a lot of drawings and creations that we will find the next morning on the table. One such creation was a character named "Slappy the Duck" that my husband and daughter had thought up. In the last several months once moving into our new home, I have wanted to decorate and use a more rustic design. Over the years, my hair has always been rather long. With long hair comes, a lot of shedding. I'll admit it, when the time came for my Grandmother to clean the vacuum out she spent many, many hours bent over on the floor cursing the vacuum trying to use scissors to cut my 16 inch long strands out. Add in some Christmas tree tinsel, long dog hairs, and yeah vacuum days were not pretty. After moving into our house back in March, I became more "clean" than ever before. Shark is one of the leading manufacturers of cleaning supplies for home, clothing and more. The 2-in-1 Blast Mop is amazing and I am so excited to show you all!
This mop is light weight, easy to keep together, doesn't fall apart it genuinely "snaps" and stays and the best part is how great of a quality it is. There are smaller and less expensive mops that you can get that have tanks and pads, but you get what you pay for you really do. Plus, this box was rather big and makes for a great hiding place:
So we went ahead and first tried the mop on the counter, and I have NO idea what happened to the photos. But I will say we had spaghetti sauce on the counter from the night before that had dried off. Most people know, that is hard to get off even with a sponge and a lot of elbow grease. Not for the pocket mop! I wish I had the pictures for this, but it was really great how with the steam and a little rubbing it came right up! This is great to disinfect your counter tops, floors, and more because of the heat of the steam. There's less of a fear of getting bacteria on food or utensils if you use this!
Then, we moved to the floor! Here is a video:
At first, I wasn't sure it was working because I try to keep our floor very clean anyway, but you can hear how the steam was coming out yet it was so quiet. You can see where it was wiping up the small mud spots and afterwards we just tossed the pad in the wash. I've used this thing so many times since then because we are a barefoot family. I don't know about you but I hate shoes (I love their look, hate wearing them!). I'm Scottish, I have hot feet so moment I'm home the shoes come off. It's really disheartening to get out of a shower, walk around the bare floors and find your feet getting nice and...murky. This steam mop does wonders and keeps the floors clean for weeks after.
The mop comes up pretty high on me (I'm 5'1") so I'd say if you want to use this you can even if you're a shorty, just make sure to keep it all cleaned out. Don't let the water sit in the container after you're done make sure to empty it.
You can see this is the hand held portion. On the back is a small pad for scrubbing and this also can be used for steaming clothes. So I don't think this is a 2-in-1 I'd say like...a 4-in-1, haha. This retails for $134 at Walmart, and it would make an incredible Christmas gift for someone so hurry to get yours today!

My household is all about boiling hot water, boiling potatoes then adding butter and seasonings. We also use instant potatoes but I love fresh ones no matter what. Getting this potato masher was a fantastic addition to our kitchen! With this masher, we can get fantastic, smooth mashed potatoes in less than a minute. I laughed at myself first time I used it because as I was mashing the potatoes it looked like I was making potato macaroni elbows. If you're like my household, you go through batteries very quickly. Between television remotes, children's toys, and more you just need them over and over. We've probably thrown away more batteries than we needed to because we thought they were dead and couldn't tell. The Volmate Vol-200 Battery Tester is fantastic and helps you keep track of your batteries, even rechargable ones.

My husband and I are on our computers seven days a week, unless we absolutely don't need to be. Carpal Tunnel happens to both of us and I wanted to try to help my husband with his. This cushion pad for both the keyboard and mouse is awesome! It protects his wrist in both ways and not only is soft but very durable. With strong stitching to keep it from popping due to pressure, you can use this for years if handled properly! I recommend this as a great stocking stuffer for any Computer Tech or Gaming Geek!
