My daughter is turning four on October 29th. Due to her date of birth she won't be starting Kindergarten for a year after most kids born the same year. She is in preschool right now, but I always worry that she will be a bit behind if we aren't careful. I was given the opportunity to review an app/website called "Matific" and I am so glad I did! We recently stopped using ABC Mouse because my daughter seemed to grow bored with it, so this coming along is great! It gives her what she needs and she is completely enthralled!





Once you have registered, there are many different options to choose from. My daughter has already fallen head over heels for the "Monster Shop" and I love that it's not only teaching her math, but for her age it's teaching her vegetables and more! Each lesson teaches something different to help children as they grow in school. One thing I love Matific for is almost instantly I could go to the parents area, and view reports of Olivia's learning. She is using this on her Nexus (FYI you can get this on any Apple or Android product!) so to be able to see results instantly while she is laying on her bed away from me was great! With ABC Mouse there was always a bit of a delay, and that drove me crazy.

This is just one of the many options you have to use, and we haven't gotten to this one yet but as you can see you count the birds to determine how many they are. It even allows you to move the birds around and count just as if the children are sitting with small beads or marbles in front of them. I love how interactive this is, and it really is a fantastic way for children to learn math. I struggled with math most of my school years and no matter how hard my family tried I really could never pick up on it. With Matific, your children up through 6th Grade get easy games and lessons, and you know they're having fun while learning!

Here Olivia is doing the "Monster Shop" and I love how eager she was to keep going after each try!



Getting this for your children whether to help them with school or just to help them get a bit more ahead with learning is a fantastic idea. The prices are fantastic as well and easy to manage if you do a little InstaGC:

Before the internet (and yes, I was alive for that) you had to look at people in the eye when you worked with them. If you wanted to talk to someone you picked up a phone, dialed or spun the dial and you made sure that they could hear your tone of voice. Friday nights were usually met with pizza and movies.
